States That Allow Acting on a Dream

The failure of the DREAM Act at the Federal level has not stopped some states from allowing undocumented students pay in-state tuition. While legislation allowing undocumented students more rights recently failed in Colorado, but Maryland recently passed into law the right of undocumented students to pay in-state tuition and Connecticut, Oregon and California are considering enacting similar legislation.

Here is a list of 11 other states that believe in the American DREAM:

• New York
• Wisconsin
• Texas
• New Mexico
• California
• Utah
• Oklahoma
• Kansas
• Washington
• Nebraska
• Illinois

Our hats go off to them. Thank you for being reasonable!
