The 2013 Green Card Lottery Has Ended
Registration for the Green Card or Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery ended on Saturday, November 5, 2011. The Diversity Immigrant Visa Program is an annual event that is congressionally mandated. The process is computer-driven and is completely random.
Once you entered your name in the Green Card Lottery, you should have received submission confirmation number. Keep this information in a secure and safe place, because without it, you will not be able to check on your status.
Beginning on May 1, 2012, all entrants may check the status of their entry. This will be the ONLY means of informing you if your entry was selected or not.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have lost your confirmation information, you will not be able to check your Green Card Lottery entry status and you will have a hard time trying to figure out if you were selected or not.
