DACA Renewal

DACA has enabled DREAMers from all over the United States to take control of their lives, to get out of the shadows and live without fear. With Deferred Action, immigrants who came to the United States when they were young, but now find themselves without a valid immigration status, don't have to worry about being deported and can apply for many more jobs than before. Some states even allow DACA recipients driver's licenses or funding for going to school.

DACA began as a executive order by Barack Obama in 2012 and continues to accept applications today. Many of the DREAMers who count themselves among the first to apply for DACA are to apply for renewal in 2014. The infographic below outlines some of the highlights of the first two years of the DACA program.
