Appointment Notices
ASCs are located in specific places to accommodate customers located near them. Even though most ASCs provide the same services, if you need an ASC, please use the one nearest you.

Hours of Service for Military Members
This office provides services to military personnel from 9:00AM to 3:00PM, Monday through Friday. Military personnel do not need an appointment.

PARKING: There is public parking available in the area of the office.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
Take Interstate 95/Maine Turnpike.
Get off at Exit 45 (formally Exit 7).
As you pass thru the toll plaza, bear right towards Maine Mall Road.
At the first intersection, turn left.
At the second traffic light, turn right onto Cummings Street.
Go straight on Cummings Street through one traffic light.
Take the first left onto Gannett Drive.
Go one quarter mile.
The USCIS building is on the Right, just beyond the Kennebec Girl Scout Council Building.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
The South Portland Bus route has a stop near the office. The current bus route is 24A and 24B. Please visit southportland.org. to check for the current schedule.
Appointment Notices
The only after filing service that is provided by an ASC is biometrics collection. Biometrics collection services are by appointment only and are related to an application for an immigration benefit.
After your application is received, you will be sent a notice on Form I-797C with your scheduled appointment date and time. If you are not able to appear for the scheduled appointment, you must comply with Form I-797 (Request for Rescheduling). Mail your request to rescheduling your appointment to:

Your appointment will be rescheduled and you will receive a new appointment notice.
Filing Services
There are no direct filings of applications at an ASC

If you believe there is a problem with a case that you filed, you have moved, or you are in need of other services, the USCIS Contact Center offers a variety of Case Services for a case that is pending or completed.
