U.S. Green Card Lottery

Each year the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery program grants 50,000 permanent resident visas ("green cards") to individuals who meet strict eligibility requirements from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. This official U.S. government program aims to diversify the United States population by creating an immigration opportunity for under-represented groups. Properly completed entries are entered into a computer-generated lottery and winners are randomly selected.Winners and their family members are able to live, work, and study in the United States!

How do I enter the lottery?

There are two ways to enter the Green card Lottery (also known as the Diversity Visa Lottery). The first is through the U.S. Department of State website. The second is through a professional immigration service, such as USA Green Card Lottery.
