Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals FAQs

Recently USCIS has released more information on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. This policy de-prioritizes undocumented youth from removal proceedings and allows them to apply for work authorization.

We’ve made a helpful infographic which answers some the most frequently asked questions about the policy including eligibility requirements, a detailed description of what exactly deferred action is, and travel concerns.

The USCIS will be updating Form I-765 and a new version of this work authorization form will be available on August 15, 2012.
